Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Skeinworks iOS and Mac app. By downloading or using the app you agree to them.
Licence
Skeinworks grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may keep and stitch from the charts you generate, including for items you sell by hand.
Your Images and Charts
You keep all rights to the photos you import. You are responsible for having the right to use and reproduce any image you turn into a chart. Do not import images you do not have permission to use.
DMC Colour References
DMC colour codes and approximate screen colours are provided to help you match stranded cotton you buy from a shop. Screen colours vary between devices, and dyelots vary between batches. Always compare against a physical shade card or skein when the exact colour matters.
Purchases and Subscriptions
- Skeinworks Pro is available as a weekly subscription, a monthly subscription, and a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple.
- The lifetime purchase is a non-consumable and does not renew.
- Pro features are tied to the Apple ID that bought them; use Restore Purchases on a new device.

Supplies links may be affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Buying through these links does not change the price you pay.
Availability and Changes
We may add, change, or remove features between versions. We do not guarantee that the app will be available on every device or OS version, or that a third-party shop will keep any particular item in stock.
Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from its use, including mis-stitched charts, out-of-stock materials, or colour differences between screen and thread.
